Patio Enclosure Screen Room In South Valley, NM

Our aluminum screen rooms are built for the high desert. Aluminum doesn’t rot, warp or attract termites, and the powder coated finish holds its color in strong UV. That makes a patio enclosure screen room in South Valley, NM NM an upgrade that needs very little care and lasts for years.

The mesh matters as much as the frame. We fit each room with the screen that suits your home:

  • Standard fiberglass mesh for a clear view and good airflow
  • Tight no see um mesh when you need a screen room for bugs and insects, including gnats and other tiny biters
  • Pet resistant screen that holds up to claws and paws
  • Sun control screen that cuts glare and heat on west facing patios

Mosquitoes in New Mexico can carry West Nile virus, so a sealed screen room protects your health as well as your comfort. Want a bigger change? A screen porch addition in South Valley, NM NM can extend off a back door or wrap around a deck, with a solid or insulated roof overhead.

Screen Rooms: A Complete Guide For Homeowners

A screen room is an outdoor space with mesh walls and a roof overhead. It sits between an open patio and a full sunroom. You keep the fresh air and the view, but bugs, dust and leaves stay out. In South Valley, NM, a screen room earns its keep from spring through fall. That is when mosquitoes come out after monsoon rains and spring winds blow grit and cottonwood fluff across the yard. A screen room costs much less than a glass sunroom, needs no heating or cooling and usually goes up faster. It also gives kids and pets a safe, shaded place to play.

How To Choose The Right Screen Room For Your Outdoor Space

Start with how you will use the room. For dining and relaxing, a solid or insulated roof gives the most shade and keeps rain off your furniture. If you want some sun, a lattice section over part of the room lets light in. Next, look at sun direction. A west facing room does best with sun control mesh or an awning on that side. Then plan your doors. One door to the yard may be enough, or two can make it easier to move in and out. Add knee walls if kids or pets play inside. Finally, set your budget, and we will show you options that fit it.
